Why attend this workshop?

The Dynamic Space model has been truly transformational in its application and impact within the Trust. The model has supported a clear mindset change across the DNA of the organisation. – Assistant Director in OD.

Have you ever longed for a different way of tackling some of the most difficult challenges we face in our organisations and in our society? For a different quality of conversation that isn’t about political point-scoring and acrimonious debate; a conversational dialogue that is more inclusive of voices from every level of our organisations and communities?

Dynamic Space workshops usually last between 4-7 hours and provide a unique opportunity for a large group of stakeholders to have conversations about a central “How can we…?” challenge of importance to your organisation or community.

Benefits

Dynamic space is one of the most powerful group facilitation tools. This immersive workshop will cover all the practicalities of organising and facilitating a Dynamic Space Workshop. Part of your learning will come from experiencing a mini-Dynamic Space Workshop for yourself on the day.

Dynamic Space events have a structured framework, creating space for a series of conversations of about 30-45 mins each to take place around an important strategic challenge your organisation or community is facing. There are a few simple rules and lots of freedom to have the conversations that need to be had under the overall theme of the day, which is usually chosen by the organisers or a senior management team.

The day will finish with the group collectively deciding what will be taken forward, by whom and by when, in Dynamic Action Groups. These action groups then report back on their recommendations at a follow-up event a few months after the first.

It was a great experience attending the dynamic space event on Tuesday. Spaces like these foster sense of collaboration and teamwork, especially when teams that sometimes work in silos get to work together.

The approach of the workshops gives an opportunity for everyone to be heard and to be able to engage with others because the hierarchy of management is removed, allowing people to thrive and feel enthusiastic. Allowing for empowerment because their opinions are being heard.

For me my journey has been one of developing self-confidence and enhancing my self-esteem and self-worth. I have spread my wings by being involved with others and having fun in getting to know people, I wouldn’t have normally of worked with.
