As the challenges that face leaders change and evolve, so must their impact, influence and presence.

Most leaders know about the cognitive and behavioural aspects of leading, but leaders have more impact when they can access more of themselves than their intellect. Leaders who can ‘be’ themselves with courage, strength and compassion, find deeper reserves of integrity, authenticity and presence, even under high pressure. This means greater impact and influence wherever it matters most.

On this highly practical programme we use several methods to enhance your presence and effectiveness as a leader: mindfulness practice, visioning, somatic techniques, gestalt approaches and equine assisted learning. This different and challenging programme is designed to help you integrate less familiar aspects of your power as a leader with the capabilities you already use. It will help you clarify your view of what drives you and how to stay committed to that under pressure. Building on this you will then explore ways in which you can engage and inspire others more fully in the work you need them to join you in.

Why should you attend this programme?

  • Learn powerful and practical ways to develop presence, trust and respect
  • Learn to adapt your responses under pressure and respond with more clarity and confidence
  • Learn to hold courageous conversations about important issues so you can move forward
  • Embody authenticity, integrity, consistency and confidence

Business Benefits

Leaders will build greater confidence to deal with high pressure situations like leading change and handling conflict. They will increase their impact and influence around what really matters to them so that they can feel inwardly and display outwardly more authenticity and integrity. Leaders will build capacities that increase their collaborative and trust building ability.

I have gained a better understanding of myself in a quite profound way in a relatively short space of time. I have also gained a sense of head, heart and core.

Casell Bailey, Sport England

It is almost impossible to believe the impact this programme will have on you  unless you  do it. No words, pictures or thoughts can capture it. You owe it to yourself to have a go.

Ian Hughes, Chief Executive, Consumer Intelligence Ltd

By being present, life is much more enjoyable. I spend so little time now worrying about what might happen and embrace what is actually happening. It has led to much better conversations as my desire to actively listen has improved. This applies to all aspects of my life. I used to think that if I were to go slower I would be less productive, well how wrong I was! I still move at pace but now with more clarity and a greater sense of achievement

Gillian Felton, Head of People Development, Engagement and Wellbeing, NIHR Clinical Research Network (CRN)

The chance to ‘try out’ different leadership positions has made me more flexible in how I lead, in particular I am now more comfortable being directive when it is needed. My projects progress faster now, as I make decisions more quickly and confidently without over-consultation. I also have a clearer vision of how my work adds value to the company and the conviction in my voice when I speak of this is building more support for my projects.

Celia Clark, Learning Capability Manager, Oxford University press.

I found the programme provided me with a great opportunity to reflect on the skillsets and strengths that I already possess and how to use my strengths to achieve the outcome I want rather than trying to change my approach.

Maura Fallon, Senior Income Accountant, NUI Galway
