8th February

As we embrace the next industrial revolution – the digital revolution – Roffey Park’s MA18 takes a look at how equipped UK organisations are to fully benefit and capitalise on the opportunities. We may not be able to imagine the new jobs of the future, but our research shows that over a third of organisations are investing in reskilling employees to keep pace with the changing demands that technology brings. However, this is only part of the picture – do organisations have the critical leadership and people skills required?

It has never been a more challenging and changing time for HR and OD professionals. To play a leading role in their organisations they need data at their fingertips and a highly developed diagnostic and analytical capability. Our MA18 research identifies an urgency for over half of the organisations we surveyed to build this capability, and quickly. An additional pressure for HR departments is the challenges to recruit and retain talented staff, given the economic uncertainties created by Brexit, and our research reveals the creative ways in which organisations are attracting and recruiting talent.

And we look at the impact of the Gig Economy with growing numbers of casual and independent workers – how does this effect innovation, productivity, engagement and trust?

Please join us at our event in London for an evening of insight and discussion, where we will:

Share our research findings and explore what this means for you and your organisation

Debate and discuss the key topics with a panel chaired by journalist and commentator, Stefan Stern. Two panel members are already confirmed as Paul Breckell, Chief Executive of Action on Hearing Loss (previously RNID), Sian Harrington, co-founder and editorial director of The People Space and Mandy Ferguson, Vice President – Europe at Harlequin.

Leave equipped with a copy of the research report and inspired with ideas on how you can make a difference in your workplace
