Adversity is an inevitable part of life, including organisational life.  When we work on tough challenges in complex systems, strengths and successes are always accompanied at some stage by disagreement, disappointment, and failure.  The question of how to advance through such experiences in the world of work has occupied Roffey Park Institute since its inception.  How do you cultivate individual capability to survive and thrive in and after adversity?  How do you generate the organisational conditions that normalize adversity within high performance?  In this Navigator, we will share our evolving responses to these questions, touching especially on resilience, vulnerability, and change – and connecting these subjects with the urgent business needs we see our clients and partners encountering.  And, as part of our ever-growing community of practice, we will be delighted to hear from you how you work with these same topics and what they mean for the organisations you work in and/or the clients you serve.

You will also receive a copy of the presentation and outputs to share within your organisation.

This is a free of charge event for leaders, HR, L&D and OD Professionals.

At Roffey Park Institute we support, develop and help leaders, managers and organisations to engage and motivate their teams to be more productive and to create organisations that flourish for all.

Our Navigator Forums are designed to be opportunities to learn, network and exchange ideas with an international audience of peers.  Each session focuses on either leadership, management, HR or organisational development.  All are aimed at creating the best possible workplace for human relationships to flourish.
