Head of People and Skills Development

Salary: circa £50,000 plus benefits

Full time, based in Horsham West Sussex.

Roffey Park Institute is a leading international School of Management, Leadership and Organisational Development. With more than 70 years’ experience, we are world class in our approach to executive education and adult learning, as well as in research. Headquartered in Horsham, West Sussex, we also have operations and faculty in Singapore and Europe. About the role

To assist in implementing our future goals, we seek an ambitious, experienced and collaborative Head of People and Skills Development. You will be diplomatic, a great communicator, instinctively open handed in your approach. Equally, you will be HR/HRD qualified and able to deliver across the employee lifecycle.

You will understand the HE and executive education environment, as well as the changes that the HE sector is going through more generally. You will be comfortable leading through change and designing and implementing best in class HR/HRD processes and practices. As an independent, international Institute, we want you to be able to operate across national boundaries and cultures, unifying our Institute both from process and cultural perspectives. You will have experience of utilising and managing digital tools to deliver HR/ HRD services to all our staff.

In addition, you will participate in the operational management of the Institute, ensuring a joined up, effective and profitable focus in all that we do. As a leader in a learner centred Institute, you will encourage and promote a culture of outward looking customer centricity everywhere.

You will also act as secretariat to the People and Reward Committee, a subcommittee of our Board of Trustees.
