Embodied Leadership - free taster event at Roffey Park

Date: 18/06/2010      Time: 9am to 12.30 pm followed by lunch

How do you take what you know and make it work in real situations where you are challenged by change, conflict or complexity and under pressure to perform as a leader?

Leadership is not just about thinking.  There is more to getting people into action that is just reasons.  Vision and values need more than just talk.  Change is about action and movement.   Yet just knowing this makes little difference... you need to 'walk your talk'.

In Embodied Leadership we work with who you are as a leader.  Your strengths will be clearly revealed to you, along with the things you do that trip you up.  This is not a conventional leadership programme, but immensely practical - you will truly learn what it means to 'walk your talk'.

"The nature of my job is fast-paced with hundreds of decision to be made on a daily basis. Roffey Park’s Embodied Leadership programme has helped me prioritise more effectively while avoiding getting frustrated.  By managing my central balance and performing some of the simple exercises we practiced, I am more decisive and more credible as a leader.”

Ray Berry, Rig Manager - Transocean
