Building on Roffey Park’s reputation for both research and development, our Engagement Diagnostic Service combines a rigorously validated engagement survey with explorative focus groups and delivers a comprehensive report on engagement levels within your organisation.

  • A short on-line engagement survey for up to 500 people – larger numbers can be included at a small additional cost 3-4
  • employee focus groups (one day) to explore what’s working and what can be done to further improve engagement levels
  • A comprehensive report analysing quantitative and qualitative data to provide an overview of engagement levels within your organisation.

Overall engagement level

Based on our extensive research and work with clients, Roffey Park has developed an online survey using our engagement scale, which will measure employee engagement within the organisation and provide benchmarking against a comparison management group of 1000 cross-sector UK and international organisations.

Dimensions of engagement

Our engagement scale benchmarks your organisation on four key indicators.

  1. Commitment to the organisation:
    considers issues of commitment and retention.
  2. Relationships at work:
    considers issues of trust and relationships with colleagues.
  3. The job/role itself:
    considers an individual’s interest in their work and the level of effort they feel prepared to put in.
  4. Payback:
    considers issues of recognition, reward and how work contributes to an individual’s general happiness.
  5. Sample Characteristics
    We will also break the findings down for your organisation for up to six different groups of your choosing (such as role, function, gender, age).

Explorative focus groups

Our experienced researchers will facilitate and gather data from up to four employee focus groups. The composition of these groups can be managed so that they accurately represent your employee profile. Using Appreciative Inquiry techniques we will explore what works in relation to engagement and what can be done to improve engagement levels even further.

Diagnostic report

A comprehensive report will be provided which incorporates the analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data and provides an overview of engagement levels within your organisation. This will include employees’ perspectives on what works and their tangible suggestions on how to raise engagement levels. We will conclude with recommendations based on the data and drawn from our extensive experience of working in the field.

To encourage openness, we guarantee anonymity to all who take part in the survey and focus groups. No individual will therefore be identifiable in the report.
