Making strategy work: the art of achieving lasting change
In a fast-paced modern organisation, managers play an enhanced central role in delivering business success. In addition to planning, managing performance and responding to people and problems, managers are expected to adapt corporate strategies to fit changing conditions. Often, this means creating local variations that enable the delivery of change, by taking account of feedback uniquely available at operational levels.
This programme (previously called Managing Strategy and Change) focuses on these two aspects of the management role. Firstly actively responding so that people recognise the need for change and the way to achieve it, and secondly, understanding, influencing, adapting and delivering business strategy.
Why should you attend this programme?
- Better understanding of achieving lasting change at both organisational and individual levels
- Improved understanding of different perspectives, the role of strategy and its fit with operating realities
- Increasing effectiveness in your central role as the link between strategy, change and operations
- Greater ability to join in and influence strategic discussions
- Confidence to provide strategic direction and clarity for others
- Enhanced political acumen and understanding of skills to navigate the political terrain.
