Roffey Park, the management institute, has appointed Alex Swarbrick to its Consultant team. Alex will hold the position of Senior Consultant and will deliver both bespoke work for clients as well as open programmes.
Alex is an experienced manager, consultant, facilitator and executive coach, combining a strong background in HR with leadership development. Before joining Roffey Park, he ran his own consultancy and coaching practice working with organisations in the public, private and voluntary sectors. He has also undertaken consultancy projects with clients across Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Africa. Alex has particular interest in culture and the relational aspects of leadership and management.
Prior to establishing his consultancy practice, Alex was Head of HR for the Work Foundation and before this he worked in Nepal for a number of years as Personnel Director for an international development agency. Previously he held a number of HR roles in the BBC.

Alex is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a business graduate with a MPhil from London School of Economics in organisation design and skill use. He is also a qualified Executive Coach, holds a practitioners certificate in Personal Construct Psychology, and an Advanced Diploma in Intercultural Management from Cambridge University.
